It’s that time of year again.

Today is the day tickets go on sale for two of the most exciting and ever-popular motoring events, Goodwood Festival of Speed & Goodwood Revival.

The Revival made headlines earlier this year after they hosted a historic race with a staggering £200M worth of classic cars on the grid...including ten Ferrari 250 GT SWB, four Aston Martin DB4 GTs and a sensory overload of other tasty kit.

This historic annual race event now attracts thousands of enthusiasts from across the globe and should be on the calendar at least once for any self-respecting classic car or classic bike enthusiast.

Likewise for the Goodwood Festival of Speed. This is a four-day annual event also takes place every year just up the road from the Goodwood Motor Circuit at the Goodwood Estate, with hillclimb passing directly in front of Lord March’s fantastic country house. From humble beginnings, this event has become a veritable monster that now offers something for every family member and really does require more than a couple of days to absorb it all. Expect to see not only vintage cars but a range of modern and futuristic autos. The Eclectic Auctions team were able to attend all four days this year and we were left wanting more...

If you want to get the tickets ASAP, then today is the day they go on sale or, to keep updated, sign up for the Goodwood email notifications via their website here

Not to worry if you can’t buy your ticket immediately as they don’t sell out in a single day, ...but they do go fast.

If you’re passionate about modern, futurist and classic cars, then this is the event for you. Everything from historical Formula 1 cars all the way up to classic rally cars attend. For your viewing pleasure, below are a few YouTube videos for both Festival of Speed and the Goodwood Revival this year to give you a better understanding of what unfolds at these two legendary motoring events.

Now if those two videos don’t excite you... We can’t put into words the sheer volume of automobiles that attend these two events yet there’s always something new to look out for and that’s the beauty of these two events.
