Like with many classic cars from the 80s and 90s, we still think this Quattro has such great road presence even though it’s almost 30 years old. Some legends never get old, and that’s the case with the auto. The shape, performance and interior are timeless; this is a classic that would for sure be part of our dream car garage.

Before the 20V went into production, the Audi Quattro had a top speed of 137mph with a 0-60 time of 7.3 seconds. During the 80s, those were impressive numbers, but Audi wanted to push the boundaries even further with the 20V. Production of the 20V lasted only two years (1989-1990), and during those years, Audi produced around 1,000 units. This new, updated Quattro had vastly improved performance which now consists of 220bhp, wider torque speed and a much more. The top speed of the 20V is 141mph with a 0-60 time of 6.3 seconds, 1 second faster than the previous Quattro.

About the Audi RR Quattro 20V

We will start things off with the exterior of the classic. This example is finished in a clean coat of Crystal Silver Metalic which we think works so well on the Quattro. A vast majority of the bodywork is presented to a high standard with a few blemishes to the paintwork, and more distinctly, a subtle crack on the front splitter. Apart from those factors, there are no scrapes to be seen on the bumpers.

Now moving on to the interior, we can see that it has been looked after very much so by the previous owner as it remains in delightful original condition. The leather theme continues throughout the classic car including the doors, dash and centre console. The trim is also in exceedingly good condition with no marks in sight. Not only all this, but the Audi Gamma cassette radio remains in its original place.

Pop the hood, and you’ll find yourself the coveted 20v 2.2-litre engine which has been unmolested. Aside from being unmolested since 1990, there are no signs of any damage or rust within the engine bay which again shows the owner has taken great care of his pride and joy.
