1977 Toyota FJ40 LandCruiser. Original RHD Japanese factory 2F 4230 CC petrol hardtop model finished in unusual Cadet Blue that needs to be seen in person - really super grey/blue. Ground up, chassis-off rebuild a few years ago, panel 'spot-weld' dimples are all clearly visible and the attention to detail underneath and in the engine bay is impressive. The interior has been re-trimmed in hardwearing grey vinyl with practical full wipe-down custom made mats on the floors. This vehicle has come from a private collection, has been beautifully restored and presents very nicely indeed. Shod with later Landcruiser alloy wheels with 31' Toyo tyres all around, the original steel split rims for the vehicle are also available. This particular hardtop has an extremely rare factory option power take-off winch that drives from the gearbox with internal floor-mounted operating lever. It works via the transfer box gears and is very powerful. Incredibly rare, and a very expensive and desirable period option - we've not come across an RHD 2F with one fitted by Toyota before - find another!  Also fitted with spotlights and power steering. The car has aftermarket Old Man Emu shocks and dampers that give the car a fantastic poise. We believe this is one of the best RHD Fj40 2F hardtop LandCruisers available in the UK and has a guide price far below chassis-off restoration costs. An excellent investment for the knowledgeable collector. These vehicles are reaching 6 figures in the LHD American collectors market. UK prices are yet to catch-up for the rarer RHD 2F models.
